Access Dinghies is here to promote sailing for everyone regardless of
disability, age and financial status. Access Dinghies currently operate (in
Tasmania) from the Austins Ferry Yacht Club.
The Access Dinghy Foundation promotes accessible sailing throughout the world,
- by assisting groups and organisations wishing to form a community based club
to benefit their local community,
- support clubs and organisations following the sailing for everyone philosophy,
and
- provide financial assistance to disabled sailors wishing to attend authorised
Access Dinghy regattas.
The Tasmanian Sport and Recreation Association for people with
a disability presents Australia’s Inaugural “OPENING DOORS PROGRAM” for students
with a disability
